What is 1Stayz?
1Stayz is an AI follow-up assistant for churches. It contacts every first-time guest by name within minutes of the service, keeps the conversation going in your church’s voice, and tells your team who needs a real person.
Will it replace our staff or volunteers?
No. 1Stayz handles the remembering and the first touches so your people can spend their time on real conversations. Pastoral moments always go to a person.
How does it stay true to our theology?
During setup you add your beliefs and choose, topic by topic, whether the assistant may explain your church’s view, should route to a pastor, or shouldn’t discuss it. Your pastor approves these guardrails.
What happens if a guest shares something serious?
The assistant pauses the conversation and alerts the staff you choose, in order, with a 15-minute response goal. Staff reply in the same thread, and the assistant stays quiet until released.
Does it work with our church app or ChMS?
1Stayz starts with Subsplash and simple connection cards or QR forms, with more connectors coming. Your existing system stays the record.
How do guests opt out?
Guests can reply STOP at any time and it’s honored instantly. 1Stayz also never sends automated texts during quiet hours in the guest’s time zone.
Which AI models does 1Stayz use?
Two roles: a fast open-weight model for everyday conversation and a frontier reasoning model for sensitive judgement. We choose providers by benchmark and swap them as better models arrive.
Who can see our church’s data?
Only your church’s authorized staff. Each church is isolated. 1Stayz sees only de-identified totals from churches that consent, never individual people.
Which church software and channels does 1Stayz connect to?
The pilot connects Subsplash, connection cards and QR forms, text and email. Planning Center and CSV import are coming soon, and more church management systems and social messaging channels are on the roadmap. Every reply lands in one conversation per guest.
What’s on the 1Stayz roadmap?
Next: more church software connectors, social messages in the same conversation, and scheduling visits with staff. Later: personalized video welcomes, a pastor video avatar made only with written consent and always labeled as AI-generated, and an audio and music studio for ministries.
